Atlanta - We are thrilled to announce a new international junior team match between Georgia and Scotland, which will be named the Kiltie Cup. The event is a joint venture between the GSGA and Scottish Golf; each team will feature four girls and four boys and will compete in four-ball, foursomes, and singles matches.
The Kiltie Cup is named after Stewart “Kiltie” Maiden, born in Carnoustie, Scotland and a member of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, who served as golf professional at East Lake Golf Club in the early 20th century, mentoring legends such as Bobby Jones and Alexa Stirling Fraser.
We can’t wait for this event to kick off and we can thank our partners at East Lake Golf Club and Scottish Golf for their exceptional collaboration in growing the game of golf!
