Born in Bristol, Rhode Island, Billy Andrade grew up with a deep passion for golf that would carry him to a remarkable professional career. A standout junior player, he continued his rise at Wake Forest University, where he helped lead the Demon Deacons to a national championship in 1986.

Andrade turned professional later that year, earning his PGA Tour card in 1987. Over his career, he collected four PGA Tour victories, including back-to-back wins at the 1991 Kemper Open and Buick Classic. Known for his consistency, he earned 77 top-10 finishes during his time on the PGA Tour.

Beyond his individual accomplishments, Andrade has been celebrated for his philanthropy. Along with fellow PGA Tour professional Brad Faxon, he co-founded the Billy Andrade/Brad Faxon Charities for Children, raising millions of dollars to benefit children in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.

Andrade’s contributions to the game and his community earned him induction into the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame in 2023.
