St. Simmons IslandKate Owens of Suwanee saved her best for last, shooting a 71 in the final round to win the second Georgia Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. The event was played at the Retreat Course at Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simmons Island over June 17-18.

Owens began the final round leading the field by two strokes at even-par. But after Krystal Sunderman of McDonough birdied the eighth and tenth holes and Owns bogeyed the ninth hole, Owens needed a response. Owens answered the call by finishing the second-nine with a two-under 34 to win by eight strokes. This was Owens fourth GSGA title, previously winning the Georgia Women's top 60 classic in 2019 and 2020, and the Georgia Women's Four Ball Championship in 2022.

Maddy Schultz of Carrollton finished in second place with a score of seven-over. Sunderman finished one shot back of Schultz at eight-over for a share of third place alongside Abigal Bolt of Canton. Kit Creighton of Atlanta and Erin Packer of Peachtree City rounded out the top five, finishing at 10-over.

In the second flight, Colleen Panosian of Smyrna emerged victorious. Following an impressive 74 in the first round, Panosian concluded the tournament at 11-over. Deb Jackson of Johns Creek took home second place at 12-over, while Mailey Buzzell of Warner Robins finished third at 15-over.

Angie Lee of Columbus won the third flight with a score of 27-over. Linyue Gao of Alpharetta finished second at 29-over, and Tish Hidle of Columbus claimed third place at 33-over.
